Snakes – Myths and Reality

Mamba

Snakes from all over the world will be on show in terrariums that recreate their natural habitats. You would need to travel a long way to get a close look at just a few of the snakes that will be on display, including an anaconda (the longest snake), a taipan (the most venomous snake), a death adder, a rattlesnake, a coral snake, a python, a mamba, a cobra, vipers and many more besides. The exhibition has been organized by the Austrian herpetologists Ursula Happ and Alfred Wallner, together with Ales Mlinar (Slovenia).

Open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm every day except Monday.
Open 10th to 12th May from 10.00 am to 10 pm
Also open on 1 May and 28 May (Whit Monday).

Admission price: 10 €
Children (from 3 to 15 years of age): 5 €
School groups and groups (min. 15 persons): 5 €/
person (guided tour)

Admission price to feeding time for the snakes every Wednesday at 7.00 pm (adults only!): 15 €

There is a 20 minute introduction for school groups an d groups.
